Usually new COVID variants come out every 3-4 months whenever media fear wears off and people get tired of talking about a single variant for too long.
When the fear is gone that means it’s time to release a new variant, currently the Omicron variant is cursing everyone and forcing the media to talk about it over and over again causing fear among the population.
Release the variant and we have something new to talk about.
